Don't wait until your career is in trouble to look at new opportunities. Exploring other jobs is not a criminal offense and it is not grounds for termination unless you are doing it during your work day to the detriment of performing your assigned duties.

Marine and Boating Industry Jobs and Careers

The marine and boating industry supports recreational fishing and other boating pursuits. This includes the manufacturing and sales of boats and accessories for boats. Recreational boating is a major consumer goods generating 17.4 billion in sales and 11.9 million boats in the water. The marine and boating industry offers many job opportunities to those who have a passion for boating and/or fishing. Resorts, marinas and boat dealers and manufacturers are a significant portion of the industry, and sell and/or produce everything from electronics to outboard motors to tackle to support the fishing enthusiast market.

There are over 12,000 marinas, yacht clubs and resorts are in the US alone and nearly 19,000 marine businesses support more than approximately employees.**
