Office Operations Manager.
Pro Guiding Service is an international mountain guiding business located in North Bend, WA, that offers ski touring, alpine and rock climbing trips and courses, both domestically and internationally.
We are seeking an energetic person to manage the office in a strong growth environment. The job can be handled by two part time people or one full time person. Major job responsibilities include managing clients through our booking system, creating and executing marketing plans, creating guiding schedules and handle some of the trip logistics. This is an all-encompassing job and you will have the opportunity to have an impact right away.
You will answer to and work closely with the owners of the business. Our office is located inside our well-known retail store Pro Ski and Mountain Service in a fun mountain shop atmosphere. You will also be in the same building as the Northwest Avalanche Center and Loge Camps. Having all these businesses located under one roof has created a very fun "Mountain Culture" atmosphere.
Pro Guiding Service is a highly respected guiding business in the Pacific Northwest and a leader in all things ski touring and avalanche education.
Requirements:
Ability to provide professional, responsive customer service with positive delivery.
Ability to sell trips and courses in an authentic and honest manner.
Familiarity with google docs, excel, and social media.
Ability to work independently AND with a team.
Excellent writing and spelling skills with ability to write professional and friendly emails.
Great customer service skills and attention to detail
Ability to create monthly newsletter via constant contact
Ability to organize small events for the Guiding Service and Retail store
Ability to work on back page of our website and update trip / course content
Prefer:
Prior experience in the outdoor industry and/or active participant in mountain sports or activities
