Sales Representative (North America) - ION Bike

ION is part of Boards & More, which operates out of Munich, Germany with its’ headquarters based in Molln, Austria. We are looking for a sales representative to cover the North American market for our subsidiary Boards & More Inc.

This is a full time position based at our North American headquarters located in White Salmon, Washington in the Columbia River Gorge. Independent reps and tele-commuters are not the best fit for this position.

Job Description:

=       Promote the ION Bike brand and products throughout the territory

=       Manage the existing customer account base

=       Acquire new success-oriented dealers

=       Create strategic territory plan for expansion and growth

=       Manage order flow and work with regular reporting

=       Liaise between dealers and our shipping, credit and customer service departments

=       Act as a charismatic ambassador for the ION brand

=       Travel to key accounts and company sales meetings

=       Represent ION at major bike festivals & events

=       Collaborate with product development and marketing teams overseas

=       Stay current with competitor landscape, products and trends

=       Report directly to the President of Boards & More Inc.

Qualifications:

=       Sales professional with an existing network and some contacts with bike and sports retailers and important key accounts

=       High level of commitment and integrity as well as good negotiation skills and convincing behavior

=       Detail oriented with excellent follow-through

=       Professional experience in the same or similar position

=       High affinity for mountain biking (All Mountain / Enduro / Freeride)

=       A good feeling for current trends in the sports industry

=       Proficient in Excel, Word and other office applications. Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus.

=       US Citizen with valid passport
