Come join our team on the Poudre River for the 2019 rafting season! Rapid Transit Rafting is looking for experienced whitewater rafting guides for our daily trips on the Cache la Poudre River just outside Fort Collins, CO this summer.
Rapid Transit is one of the only rafting companies around that actually publishes a schedule so you can get on the river and still plan your life. For the majority of the rafting season guides will work a set schedule 1-3 trips daily. Our customers come to you so no need to meet at an office. Just head to the Poudre Canyon and we bring the rafters to you at the river!
A typical day as a guide at RTR involves meeting in the Poudre Canyon in the morning, loading rafts on the van and trailer, and heading to the river. Customers meet you in the canyon and the majority of the season guides will work 3 trips per day. We're one of the only companies on the river where guides can get this much work on the river!
Experienced guides can work full-time or part-time. Minimum of 2 seasons experience on Class III-IV whitewater. Paddle raft guiding experience a must. We run mostly 13.5 ft. NRS rafts with 6-7 customers per raft plus the guide.
