Responsibilities:

  • =       Manage and influence supplier relationships to positively improve reliability and quality.
  • =       Research, identify, vet, and recommend new manufacturers or suppliers who provide better quality, service, and/or pricing.
  • =       Accountable for all purchasing and replenishment of finished goods inventory and merchandise; set up items, including costs, accounting, and bill of materials in Quickbooks.
  • =       Own and continually improve demand and forecasting process.
  • =       Analyze, evaluate, and report inventory levels of in-process and finished goods; work with S&OP on supply shortfalls to minimize impacts to customer demand.
  • =       Manage and provide direction regarding inventory patterns, trends, and future purchases.
  • =       Manage expenditures to plan outside of COGS, such as manufacturing fees, inbound freight, etc.

Key Qualifications:

  • =       Strong communication and negotiating skills (written and verbal).
  • =       Ability to independently identify and solve problems and present recommendations and/or answer questions from a group of mangers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • =       Detail oriented with strength in high-level data analysis.
  • =       Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • =       General knowledge of budgeting and planning.

Education and Experience:

  • =       2+ year of experience in supply chain or forecasting/planning/inventory control.
  • =       Experience managing food/beverate/CPG contract manufacturers is preferred.
  • =       Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.
  • =       Familiarity in using Office Suite, Google Drive, or ERP, is desirable.

Position Definitions:

  • The Supply Chain Manager is a full-time position, based in Boulder Colorado; reporting to the Director of Operations.
