National Accounts Manager - CANADA
Background
Angler’s Atlas is an integrated sportfishing platform that reaches anglers across Canada. It’s core value to anglers has been the maps and local content it freely offers on over a quarter million waterbodies. The platform reaches anglers through several channels including:
• 21 magazine titles covering all provinces except Quebec.
• Over a million visits to the website annually.
• Over 150,000 anglers that have registered as members.
• Two mobile apps – one a social app and the other a personal catch log.
• An email list of over 80,000 anglers across the country.
Our goal is to make Angler’s Atlas the number one digital platform for sportfishing in Canada by 2021. We are seeking an enthusiastic angler who has a strong background working with national brands to become National Accounts Manager for the company.
The Candidate
The National Accounts Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales and President to develop the overall national accounts strategy for Angler’s Atlas, as well as set annual sales targets, execute on the sales strategies, and track performance. The ideal manager will have the following characteristics:
• Extensive contacts with national brands (eg. tackle, rods, marine, auto, etc.)
• Minimum five years in the industry
• Likes to fish
Responsibilities
Specifically, the manager will be responsible for:
(i) Developing and managing a prospect list
(ii) Generating and managing the sale
(iii) Integration with Canadian Tire where possible
(iv) Tracking all activity using Pipedrive and Google Docs
(v) Weekly review on sales targets and activities
(vi) Attend important events for client development
(vii) Managing creative pass off
(viii) Ensuring proofs are sent
(ix) Setting annual sales strategy and targets
Compensation
This is a full time position. Salary and commission are negotiable, and will be based on experience.
