Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

This position primarily consists of overseeing the operations of Flylow from importing inventory through shipping inventory to all of our sales channels (web, pro and wholesale). But because this is a small and nimble team, you will wear many hats. A significant portion of this role is managing personnel in the warehouse as well as working with freight forwarders to move inventory both domestically and internationally.   Significant time is also spent working with the inventory system and website backend applications.

We are all skiers and riders. It is highly preferable to have someone who understands the sport and the scene we are part of.

Duties: This a summary of duties (only a snapshot, could include a variety of other items)

-   Manage all inventory coming in and out of the warehouse

-   Manage inventory management system (currently using Fishbowl)

-   Manage shipping (international and domestic) both for importing, exporting and delivery of good to customers and retailers.

-   Manage "available-to-sell" reports and various reporting for all parts of the company (sales, design, accounting)

-   Manage/organize cycle counts

-   Oversee Customer Service: Direct, Retailers, Reps and Warranty

-   Oversee samples to sales reps

-   Manage website content and updates

-   Review & comply with Vendor Agreements

-   HTS code assignment - make sure on all international docs/shipping systems

-   SKU assignment/manage SKU database

-   Help maintain warehouse organization, sort out new procedures/efficiencies

-   Marketing/Media: help marketing team coordinate personnel for marketing events in Denver (trade shows and marketing activation)

-   Oversee all warehouse personnel

Requirements:

-   Experience in inventory management, account and website systems

-   Mastery of Excel

-   Good communication and management skills (Managing co-workers, customers and retail accounts)

-   Understanding of global logistics (moving product around the world)

Position Type: Full Time, w/ flexible work schedule. Unrestricted PTO.

Flylow got its start when co-founders Greg Steen and Dan Abrams, both Colorado natives and friends since college, couldn’t find a pair of ski pants that could hold up to the kind of skiing they were doing. They were exploring the backcountry, tackling big-mountain terrain, and spending long days in variable weather.
