Position Title:  Supply Planner - Marmot

Location:  Rohnert Park, CA
Reports to: Supply Planning Manager

The Supply Planner is responsible for planning supply to the SKU level to support on time delivery while managing inventory, turn, and working capital objectives. Cross-functional partners will include Demand Planning, Sourcing, Procurement, Raw Materials, and Master Data.  In addition, the Supply Planner will identify demand and supply imbalances across global business units and provide different strategies and solutions to rectify

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned category that he or she will be supply planning
  • Create Top’s Down/Bottom’s Up Category inventory plans that support on-time delivery, and investment strategies that will support ASAP business while maximizing inventory metrics.
  • Support and create reporting that will be leveraged in monthly S&OP meetings
  • Monitor and communicate changes within the supply plan to all relevant stakeholders
  • Issue purchase requisitions to the Global Procurement teams
  • Track and monitor conversion of requisitions to purchase orders
  • Update and change inbound supply to support customer demand and or inventory management strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure all product line changes are updated on existing or future supply needs.
  • Execute on ad hoc reporting and analysis as assigned or needed.


Key Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain or related discipline
  • 3-6 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years focus in supply chain planning with extensive experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • ERP/MRP systems and SQL preferred
  • SAP/APO Planning Systems are a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Flexible nature with the ability to react quickly and sometimes creatively to business needs
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in resolving problems, work planning and organization
  • Ability to maintain focus and prioritize work with regular changes throughout the day
