Job Title: National Sales Manager
Job Type: Year-Round, Salaried

Reports to: US CEO

As the National Sales Manager, you must be able to work independently and collectively with the CEO, sales team and French sales and marketing teams to help develop, implement and support Julbo’s sales strategies, policies and positioning across our US retail partners. You will be responsible for working closely with and managing Julbo’s independent sales rep agencies across the US. You will serve as the main voice between sales reps and dealers and Julbo to support the US headquarters brand vision and sales goals. Extensive travel within the US is required along with visiting the French international headquarters at least twice a year.

National Sales Manager’s Responsibilities

  • Collectively develop and implement long-term sales strategies and policies to support the US brand vision and sales goals
  • Create, refine and update sales reports
  • Oversee and monitor all sales channels to ensure Julbo’s brand strategies align with US brand positioning
  • Create sales projections, monitor, and report on their performance
  • Provide field assessments on Julbo’s market position and performance projections that include competitor insights and opportunities
  • Collectively develop, implement and report on new sales programs, terms and sales incentives that promote consistent and predictable season over season growth and margin performance
  • Cultivate key account partnerships and have a keen understanding of each accounts KPI strategies, retailer positioning and strategies while maintaining US brand position
  • Assist and participate with reps and internal teams in the planning of trade shows, sales meetings, key account meetings and presentations, training events, and internal line presentations
  • Develop and monitor sales plans and reports for independent reps. Develop collateral to support our reps in their development and execution of sales and service strategies specific to their territories
  • Report on market and retail trends
  • Coordinate all retail product merchandising and development
  • Collaborate with US and French teams product line planning, positioning and pricing

Key Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years experience selling into outdoor wholesale accounts or optical markets
  • High proficiency and understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Extensive Travel to events and shows is required
