Key Purpose of Job:

This commercial management role within the Endura Commercial Team will support Pentland’s strategy in delivering breakthrough results & performance within the US which is a lead market within Pentland.

This role will ensure the customer plan is delivered working closely with the Endura Commercial Director, Marketing, Customer
Operations, Digital and the Pentland Strategic Customer Team. This role is responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and a
Graphics Manager to deliver long term, sustainable, harmonious and profitable business delivering joint business plans to grow faster both now and in the future. Supporting and driving the team to deliver brand initiatives in line with KPI’s.

A key function of this role will be to lead, recruit, manage, develop, coach, empower and retain talent that contributes to the success of the channel and company goals, embedding the commercial framework across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountability for the sales, profit, brand presence and KPI’s of Endura within the US for Key Account customers,
Independents and Custom – monitor, challenge and lead course-correction recommendations as required across these channels.

• This role is accountable to monitor and deliver the US Strategy; identifying and removing barriers to deliver our significant growth ambitions for 2022 and beyond.

• Responsible for creating the US Endura Marketing strategy and ensuring the right resource is available to deliver against this.

• Responsible for delivering the Endura commercial plan in assigned customers and channels, maximising investment and delivery of initiatives.

• Build trust with the retailer to create joint value, influence long-term strategic decisions and leading the delivery of objectives through an accelerated 1-3 year joint business plan.

• Support exploring, shaping and developing future plans for the Endura US Strategy that feed into the global Endura plan and building investment proposals as required.

• Owner of the Customer contact strategy within your channels ; identifying key decision makers, influencers to build a relevant connected network across the two organisations.

• Represent Pentland Brands within the customer across all functional areas (product, marketing supply, Insights etc.) mobilising the appropriate resources in a timely manner internally to support delivery of the commercial plan.

• Accountable for leading, recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, empowering and retaining talent

• Bring in to the global Endura team a deep understanding of customer and their needs; feeding in to Pentland processes both strategic (long term) and tactical (short term) needs.

• Support the team in trade terms negotiations ensuring legal compliance and leveraging value from our commercial agreements to deploy our brand propositions and drive consumer experience.

• Accountable for cost centre budget and customer P&L for relevant channels.
