Job Description & Requirements
Sales Coordinator
The role of Sales Coordinator is to
support sales representatives and coordinate sales related activities within
the company. While there is no
responsibility for selling, the Sales Coordinator helps to achieve company sales
goals by maintaining good customer relationships. A productive Sales Coordinator possesses
excellent organizational skills, communicates effectively both internally and
externally of the company, and excels at customer service.
This is a full-time position in our Big
Flats, New York facility.
Sales
Support
=
Assist sales representatives to allow them more
time for selling, increasing the sales team’s productivity
=
Enter sales orders, provide confirmations, and
estimated delivery/completion dates
=
Serve as the primary point of contact for
customers when the sales representative is not available
Order
Satisfaction
=
Accurately and efficiently process orders to
create & maintain customer satisfaction
=
Enter orders in Netsuite in accordance with
company procedures
=
Verify orders received by phone, email, web or
otherwise include correct part numbers, descriptions, and prices
=
Contact customers to resolve non-technical order
issues as necessary
=
Communicate product delays and work with sales
representatives to find alternative options or delivery dates
Coordination
=
Coordinate with other members of the sales team
in times of limited product availability to establish priorities and allocation
=
Coordinate with production regarding completion
dates on in-house produced product
=
Coordinate with the fulfillment team members to ensure
confirmed dates are met and any after order problems are rectified
=
Communicate with customers regarding
anticipated/actual ship dates and provide payment requests as needed
=
Coordinate with the transportation team to
ensure timely movement and delivery of customer orders
=
Contributes to and occasionally leads process
improvements directly related to role
Experience
=
Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system a
strong plus
=
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or
Google G Suite necessary
=
Experience in a manufacturing environment with
multi-level BOMs a plus
=
Customer service background and CRM knowledge
appreciated
