We are looking for a strategic executive to lead our Organizational Development program in a dynamic, high growth marketplace. The VP of OD will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to develop opportunities for transformational change within all subsidiaries of Clarus. In this role you will need to be a visionary, planning for the future growth and scale, balanced with an deep desire to find new opportunities to impact and positively enable employees to have a fully rewarding and enjoyable work experience.
The VP, Organization Development will be responsible for leading key strategic Human Resource related activities across our portfolio of businesses, residing in Salt Lake City, UT. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the VP of OD plans and directs all aspects of the company's organizational development functions to improve organizational effectiveness. This includes recruiting, retention policies, performance management, succession planning, and training. It also includes the scaling of the company's organization structures. This is accomplished by identifying organizational talent needs, developing a pipeline of candidates, implementing best-in-class performance management programs, developing training programs, facilitating and communicating the implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, and reviewing/monitoring development plans to ensure alignment with company goals.
The VP of OD builds human capital and maximizes employee potential by instilling and reinforcing a strong employee engagement and development culture to ensure behaviors are aligned with strategy/structure and business objectives. The VP will define and collect key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance, engagement, and satisfaction to identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, the VP of OD will be a strategic thought partner to establish, and execute a learning roadmap to develop employees, managers and leaders within and outside of the Human Resources function, including our global operations, to deliver high-impact talent solutions across the enterprise. In this role, they will be called on to have a point of view on how to evolve and develop Clarus' future leaders' growth, performance and overall well-being.

Education:
- Required: Degree in Industrial/organizational psychology, organizational behavior, HR, or related Field.
- Preferred: MSHR/MBA in Human Resources.
Work Experience:
- Required: 5+ yrs exp in OD in a corporate environment of 300-500 employees and 3+ yrs exp. leading and executing OD strategy.
- Preferred: 3-5 yrs exp with Corporate Responsibility and Sustainment.
Skills and general experience:
- Reading, writing, phone skills, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks, , communication & consultative skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills are necessary. Ability to instruct, advise, counsel, train, delegate responsibilities, and supervise.
Required licenses:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally <20%.
