Full Time Bike Mechanic

Based just a short distance from the Denver metro area in a small mountain community & only 15 minutes from C470/285 interchange.

We are a growing bike/ski/paddle shop looking for a full-time bike mechanic.  Located in the Colorado foothills with amazing access to numerous trails and endless multi season activities.  We live and ride in the community and strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience regardless of skill level, budget, or experience.  We offer competitive pay, employee purchase programs, demo bike use, and a few other perks as well.  

This full-time position will focus on service writing, bicycle repairs, builds, and of course customer service.  We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in a bike shop working on bikes, with a great attention to detail!  

 Primary responsibilities will include:

• Repairing/servicing bicycles of all kinds (75% mountain bikes) – main focus of this position

• Writing service tickets using Lightspeed POS system

• New bicycle builds

• Assisting customers with bicycle rentals

• Customer service and bicycle sales as needed

• Leading occasional group rides, if you feel comfortable doing so

• Miscellaneous other retail shop tasks

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range:   $18-$24/hr based on skills & experience

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience servicing bikes in a bike shop

• Excellent communication skills

• High attention to detail
