The Rental Crew is Rocky Mountain Paddleboard’s heart and soul, this position is the primary point of contact for guests and will wield the most influence over each of our guests’ experience. Providing the highest level of service, safety and fun are the cornerstones of Rocky Mountain Paddleboard.

First and foremost, this is a customer service position. We are here to provide a special and memorable experience for each and every one of our guests. We are seeking individuals that are passionate, kind, thoughtful, and hardworking.

This position requires a tremendous amount of stamina, unwavering patience and exceptional organizational skills. In this role, you will be required to comfortably lift 75 lbs or more. Rental staff is required to be outside in the elements, sometimes rain or shine. As a crewmember, you will provide brief instruction to all guests, safely help them get on the water, ensure they are paddling correctly and most importantly, enjoying themselves. Previous experience in instruction/speaking to groups preferred. Crewmembers are charged with ensuring all RMP and Reservoir safety protocols are followed, this includes but is not limited to, PFD fitting, clearly conveying policies and protocols, as well as continuous and ongoing safety training. This position is responsible for the daily set -up and breakdown of location, including cleaning and maintenance of gear. Your organizational and multitasking skills will often be put to the test as there are many moving parts; boards, kayaks, guests, reservations, your colleagues, timing and so much more. Being able to multitask in a fast paced environment is vital.

This position doubles as a sales position, often our guests are interested in purchasing a paddleboard after they have rented and fell in love with the sport, just as we have :). All staff will be given extensive information on our paddles, boards and gear. Learning this information is imperative to be successful in this role. We also encourage all crewmembers to proactively seek knowledge of the sport and industry at large in order to better serve our guests.
