Job Description & Requirements
DB&A Executive Search and Recruitment is pleased to announce our partnership with The Sportsmen’s Alliance and its Foundation (SA/SAF) in the search for their first Director of Curriculum Sales. It is our great privilege to again be working with this fantastic organization dedicated to defending the rights of America’s sports-men and women, protecting the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, and helping educate the next generation(s) of America’s youth to better understand a science-based approach to conserving the nation’s wild places and species. In pursuit of that mission, SA/SAF has bridged off a proven school-based program to develop a game-changing new conservation-based science curriculum that has already won strong regional support and should have national appeal.
We are seeking a mission-motivated and professionally experienced Curriculum Sales Director (CSD) to capitalize on early interest in this new curriculum at the local and state-levels by successfully selling-in early adopters while building out a regional and eventually national sales model. Ideally, we expect best qualified candidates to come from either a strong curriculum sales background or have significant experience at the decision-making level in local or state school systems. Professional characteristics of this critical first hire should include tenacity, energy, and an entrepreneurial spirit. To fit SA/SAF's culture, those traits would be well complemented by intrinsic motivation, integrity, flexibility, passion, and good humor!
Preference will be shown to candidates who can be based in Columbus, Ohio at SA/SAF's headquarters. Other strong candidates will be considered; however, given the foundational nature of this role for the future of the program, proximity to SA/SAF President and CEO Evan Heusinkveld and his executive team will be highly beneficial.
