The Company

Spinergy, Inc. is an industry leader designing and manufacturing high performance lightweight wheelchair wheels, bicycle wheels and composite parts to a variety of industries. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team. We are seeking a full time Consumer Sales Rep with a focus on direct-to-consumer sales.

This postion leads the wheelchair division's retail consumer sales efforts by workign with marketing to identify new opportunities, supporting sales and marketing campaigns, performing outgoing calls/emails to turn opportunities into sales, and maintaining relationships with existing customers through the life cycle of an order. 

Primary functions

• Work with marketing to create campaigns focused on direct-to-consumer sales through email, phone, social media, mail and events.
• Receive campaign analytics and make recommendations based on effectiveness and results.
• Identify new business opportunities and make contact with prospective customers by phone, mail or email. 
• Recognize, document and alert team of trends in consumer direct, teams and club markets.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers through excellent customer service. 
• Answer inbound telephone calls and emails from consumers pertaining to sales, product delivery, product return, inventory, warranty and general inquiries.
• Support the customer through the life cycle of the order; from quote to order fulfillment. Ensure timely shipment by actively managing orders as needed.
• Provide weekly sales forecases for select accounts along with weekly activities and sales transactions.
• Contribute to the success of the company by leading or assiting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
• Attend select industry events and shows to represent Spinergy, promote/sell our products and provide management with a show report.

Essential Qualifications/Experience

• Must have experience in direct-to-consumer sales and marketing.
• Must have excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers.
• Proficient in e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.
• Be energetic, eager to close sales and increase revenue.
• Active participation as a member of a cross-functional team.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple projects.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to create a positive, professional image, individually and in a group setting.
• Experience with Sage 100 and Sage CRM is a plus.

We are based in North County San Diego and are a casual work environment. This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday (occasional weekends and after hours may be needed).

Spinergy Inc., founded in Aug 1990, is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary, innovated products for the wheelchair, bicycle and motocross industries. 

Spinergy manufactures all of the company’s products in its facility in Tijuana, Mexico. The manufacturing facility is a one hour drive from the company’s headquarters in San Marcos, CA. The close proximity allows the company to maintain close control of its technology, manufacturing processes and personnel while providing a responsive platform for developing new products and new product lines. The company employs approximately 140 people at its 60,000 square foot Tijuana facility.

Spinergy’s headquarters is in San Marcos, CA. It houses the product development, sales and marketing, accounting, and warehouse and distribution functions. The company employs 25 people performing these functions at the 25,000 square foot facility.
