Pivot Cycles is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to fill our Demo Supervisor position. This job is headquartered in Tempe/Phoenix and helps to support and organize the Pivot Cycles demo program in cooperation with the Sales and Marketing teams. The successful candidate will have a wide variety of skills – in addition to being an excellent mechanic, exemplary people skills, near obsessive organizational habits and clear communication are musts.  This position will require quarterly travel within the United States.

The Demo Supervisor organizes festivals and demos throughout the year, supports our excellent demo crews while they are on the road and works in conjunction with Sales and Marketing staff to plan and produce successful demo events.

Responsibilities:

Planning Demos

• Organize calendar for entire demo program in cooperation with the Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Inside and Outside Sales reps and demo crews
• Support dealers in organizing successful demos according to established guidelines
• Compile demo data from previous years to calculate the best use of the demo days and routes for drivers
• Constantly update all the shared documents and calendars
• Contact dealers before the demo to ensure they are ready for the event

Working Demos

• Attending demo and festival events with demo crews, as needed
• Attending local events and races as needed

Inventory Management

• Create an annual parts forecast for all demo fleets and keep it updated based on inventory levels
• Regularly audit the inventories of each fleet for accuracy
• Review our vehicle fuel/service account to make sure it is being used properly
• Work with sponsors to order product for the fleets
• Maintain and schedule vehicle maintenance for fleet vehicles

Marketing Demos

• Post and update demo calendar on the Pivot Cycles website and other social media
• Assist dealers in achieving a successful demo with strong attendance via established Pivot guidelines
• Produce reports on demo attendance, dealer rep and customer feedback
• Report to demo sponsors about the success of the demo
• Update email lists weekly and send out follow-up emails to participants
• Create sponsorship proposals and presentations 
• Oversee the Factory Demo Center experience at Pivot Cycles headquarters

Supervision of Demo Drivers and Demo Techs

• Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews
• Manage the time off requests for Demo Techs and Demo Drivers in HR software
• Run weekly and monthly meetings, conduct employee reviews etc.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous bicycle shop experience a plus
• Mechanic certifications are a plus
• Complete understanding of the bicycle – mechanical, suspension and components
• Complete knowledge of bicycle related tools and their use
• Able to work quickly and maintain a high level of quality
• Excellent communication, documenting and problem-solving skills
• Well organized and self-motivated individual with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft office suite products – Excel, Word and Outlook
• Be able to work full-time in a standing position at a bike stand in a manufacturing/shop environment and/or at a demo event
• Able to lift 75lbs
