Position Overview

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the Content Coordinator contributes to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with Oboz Footwear’s strategic communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media plan in order to build brand awareness, increase sales and ensure clear communications. The Content Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

=         Oversee production of all footwear still photography and videos for use across all channels

=         Lead onsite (and offsite/events as required) photoshoots

=         Photo editing and retouching, optimizing for platforms as needed

=         Produce videos for social media and marketing ads. Video production and post-production, including content research, camera operation, set lighting, video editing, animating graphics, and other various forms of production and post-production

=         Organize and Manage marketing resources on OBOZfootwear.com and other file-share platforms,

=         Develop tactics and deliver key company-wide events like Oboz Brand Summit

=         Manage the production of all online content for Education Portal through BrandLive

=         Manage production of other key streaming events, such as live PR events, individual sales meetings and consumer launch events

=         Oversee creation of social media assets such as images and GIFs for Stories, posts, shared Lives, etc.

Who You Are

=         Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in marketing is a viable substitute. 

=         Direct outdoor industry experience is preferred. 

=         Experience creating and curating compelling marketing content (photo + film) a must.

=         Understanding of marketing project flow and content creation, proven ability to successfully execute major projects, deadline/time sensitive, service oriented and able to effectively work with multiple stakeholders.

=         Majority of work occurs in an office environment. Time will be spent sitting working at a computer.  Travel is required at approximately 20%.  Lifting of products and displays is periodically required. Work hours during travel may be more demanding and vary from standard working hours.

Our HQ is powered by clean wind energy – 100% of our office power comes from wind farms in Central Idaho and Washington. We carbon-offset our shoe shipments, employee travel and the office utility bill. And, the shoes we don't sell make a difference, too – we donate our unsellable (but still trail-worthy) shoes, partnering with Project Sole and local non-profits to find feet in need.
