Job Description & Requirements

We’re a small, locally owned bike shop in the fast-growing outdoor hub of Albuquerque, New Mexico seeking skilled and experienced full- and part-time bike mechanics for year-round employment. Great benefits (50% of health + dental), excellent pay ($35-50,000k/year DOE), profit-sharing and flexibility for actually riding your damn bike make this an awesome opportunity!

We’re Albuquerque’s oldest shop, but our history as the best shop in town is only part of our story: with a quickly-evolving business model and diversely experienced staff, our future is exceptionally bright. We do it all, and we mean ALL of it — from repairs on 1970s Campagnolo-equipped Masi race bikes to custom-built DH rigs and high-end gravel bikes, we’re not lying when we say we can work on, repair, and restore just about anything. Our slogan has always been “we fix other shops’ repairs” and we guarantee our work, because we can. We’re seeking mechanics (or just one rockstar) who are comfortable being uncomfortable and base their confidence in an ability to learn, not in an untested ego. We believe that nobody knows everything, so we’ve built a team that’s diverse, skilled, a lot of fun and really badass that trusts and relies on the group dynamic to create better outcomes on a daily basis. We have high standards for performance, but unlike most jobs in the outdoor industry, we actually compensate for that performance with living wages, health and dental benefits, flexible time off, paid training, and daily meals provided. Yes, you read that right: we make sure you’re paid fairly AND fed while on the job.

Taking care of people is the core tenet of our shop, whether that’s through giving bikes to kids, funding pumptracks in our less-recognized local communities, building NM’s future NICA league and growing a MTB development program — if the local shop isn’t even taking care of the people inside or standing next to them, why would anyone trust us with their bikes??

Come work with us to build a better bike industry and world at large… we’ll even help cover relocation costs for the right mechanic, if necessary, because we’re that committed to doing amazing things.

Why? Because we can.
