We’re a growing Fishing Tackle business looking for an experienced Store Manager to add to our fun team. We are known for the great care we provide our customers and employees alike.

The Company: We are known across the bay area, northern and central California, making it the largest fishing tackle retail store in the area. We have a love for the outdoors and getting all ages and skill levels out to enjoy fishing.

The Position: We’re looking for an Experienced Store Manager at our Fairfield location to join our team! Pay starting at $24-$28/hr. Medical, dental and vision benefits are offered to our full-time employees, as well as store discounts.

Job Description: the Store Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at a store to make sure that employees work together effectively to make sales and contribute to shop upkeep. Duties also include communicating with our warehouse about inventory and keeping the store stocked, scheduling employee shifts and training new employees. It is also expected that Store Manager have adequate physical strength to successfully unload shipments and restock the store. Operating hours are between 9:30-6:00pm Tuesday through Saturday

Store Managers are responsible for managing the store, which includes overseeing sales, staff and inventory.

Duties:

· Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions

· Develop and maintain a schedule for employees

· Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.

· Maintain proper inventory levels, order products to stock the store and perform quarterly inventory processes.

· Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.

· Implement cross-training of employee sand Assistant Managers to maintain productivity at all ties.

· Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.

· Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service

· Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Store Manager Skills:

· Self-motivated

· Strong leadership skills

· Strong sales abilities

· Great communication skills, must communicate with Headquarters on staffing issues, questions and general day to day activies at the store.

· Ability to operate basic business software programs

Job Requirements:

· Must have management experience

· Must be able to lift 50lbs.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
