Role Overview

Dave & Matt Vans is looking for a Facilities Manager for our van production facility in Rifle.  The position will be responsible for keeping the facility safe, clean and functional.  Create and implement routine facility maintenance and safety protocols. Daily inspection of facilities to monitor and address cleanliness and complete scheduled safety checks.  Other duties include obtaining bids and negotiating contracts with service providers including janitorial and tracking of associated expenses. Periodic availability for delivery and receipt of inventory as well as after hours alarm response.

Ideal Experience

- Keen attention to detail, critical thinking and efficient problem-solving skills.

-  Mechanical skills and knowledge of building systems including plumbing and HVAC.

- Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.

-- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of team members and service providers.

- Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities.

-- Previous experience and working knowledge of commercial fire and life safety and industrial hygiene helpful. 

Physical Requirements

- Must be comfortable working with a variety of power tools and equipment.

- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 70+ pounds regularly.

-  Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and able to work on concrete floors.

Job Type: Full time, Salaried

Schedule: 40+ hours/week; some weekends may be required

Base Salary: Starting at $55,000. Varies based on experience and expertise.
