Job Description & Requirements
Evolution Expeditions is looking for highly motivated river guides that are enthusiastic about working in a team environment, have a passion for nature and the outdoors, and can help promote a positive work culture.
Our river guides take guests on an adventure through the Black Canyon.
Your day may begin at our warehouse prepping all gear/equipment for the days tours. This includes, but is not limited to: loading kayaks onto trailers, packing gear/equipment, loading lunches/snack bags/waters, and driving to the launch site for set up before guests arrive.
OR
Your day may begin by picking up a van and serving as the shuttle driver that transports our guests from their hotel on the LV strip to the launch location.
The next stage of your day will include guiding guests from all over the world on a kayaking journey through a section of the Colorado River called the Black Canyon, this is flat water kayaking (no white water or rapids)
The last part of your day will consist of either heading back to the warehouse for clean up of all gear/equipment in a high energy/teamwork oriented environment
OR
Driving guests back to their hotels.
*please note: days can be long and in the summer months, HOT

About Evolution Expeditions
Evolution Expeditions is a kayaking/hiking outfitter doing guided tours for guests in Southern Nevada (outside of Las Vegas) and over the border into Arizona. We paddle the Black Canyon, a section of the Colorado river from the base of the Hoover Dam, 12 miles to Willow Beach, AZ. The river is flat water in this section with 900'volcanic walls on both sides. We offer full day and half day tours. Our business has been around since 2006. We are a family owned/operated business that has a team oriented working environment consisting of certified guides, admin/office staff, and an operations manager. We pride ourselves on having the best equipment, the best guides, and the most professional operation in this area. We are looking for energetic, self motivated, hard working individuals that have a passion for the outdoors/nature to join our team and help us grow to the next level.
