Job Description & Requirements

DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS, ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE U.S. CITIZENS.

Job Functions:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer technical and order related emails and phone calls in an expedient timeframe.
  • Assist CS team with processing incoming Commercial Purchase Orders, EDI system order submissions and Webstore WooCommerce retail sales orders.
  • Manage order fulfillment, including processing and printing webstore retail sales order invoices, preparing shipping labels, and coordinating with the Lancer Shipping Department.
  • Field all sales-related inquiries to the Sales Team.
  • Consult with Sales Reps on all issues related to order fulfillment.
  • Process single-instance and blanket sales orders with accurate promise, ship-by and dock dates.
  • Ensure customers receive orders in a timely manner.
  • Aid with assembling quotations for the sales team on request.
  • Answer technical questions and troubleshoot customer issues regarding Lancer Products.  
  • Communicate daily with the Customer Service Manager regarding sales order shipping status and product availability.
  • Resolve customer order issues and handle returns/refunds in a professional manner.
  • Document all customer communications digitally within a CRM system.
  • Verify credentials for Law enforcement/Military pricing coupon requests and process Industry Partner Discount coupon requests.
  • Meet quarterly customer service and webstore metrics.
  • Maintain and update the ERP system database of active customers.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation of Federal, State, and local firearm and magazine restrictions.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Technologically proficient
  • Self-starting, well organized and detail oriented
  • Highly motivated with a proactive approach
  • Must be fluent in English with basic math skills

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate
  • 1 to 3 years Customer Service (Preferred)

Special Skills or Characteristics Required:

  • Field sport experience, especially with firearms and related activities (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and EDI systems (preferred)
  • Internet and ecommerce savvy

Work Environment:

  • This is an in-person role based 100% at our Quakertown facility.
