Outspokin’ Bicycles is a profitable, locally owned, community-driven shop serving riders across the Midlands. A top 100 Trek dealer, we’re known for exceptional customer service, expert mechanics, and a genuine love of bikes and people. We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, inspire our team, and deliver an outstanding experience to every customer who walks through the door.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and motivate retail and service staff.
• Manage sales goals, budgeting, and inventory.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate product ordering.
• Ensure smooth daily operations across sales and service.
• Create and oversee in-store events, promotions, and community rides.
• Foster a culture of customer service, professionalism, and fun.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in retail or service management (bike industry a plus).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Cycling specific mechanical knowledge and ability to work closely with the service department
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A passion for cycling and helping people enjoy riding more.

Irmo, SC is located 20 minutes from downtown Columbia, which is the state capital, and home to the University of South Carolina. The shop is located 10 minutes from Harbison State Forest which has over 25 miles of single track, and an hour away from F.A.T.S (Forks Area Trail System) an IMBA award winning trail system. Road and gravel riding opportunities abound. The Saluda, Congaree and Broad Rivers offer many paddling options and Congaree National Park is less than an hour away. It is 2 hours from either the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest. Columbia Metro Airport (CAE) is served by American, United, Delta, Allegiant and Spirit Airlines.
