Kulie Bike Bags, a Seattle based female run startup launched May 2020 seeks passionate and motivated independent sales reps to build distribution outside of the PNW.
Kulie creates European design inspired and functionality-first bike bags for every kind of cyclist out there. We offer the whole range of bike bags – handlebar/frame/top tube bags, panniers, trunk bags and convertible backpacks all in distinctive, standout styles to appeal to a broad range of cyclists.
Our vision is to create a brand that opens up biking related adventures - gravel riding, bike packing, guided bike tourism etc. to all cyclists, but with specific focus on casual riders who really don't receive much attention from big brands. Our content and stories are geared towards highlighting the need for inclusivity in cycling, be that inclusivity for women, plus sized individuals, BIPOC, LGBTQ, seniors, or individuals with disabilities. We have a broad lineup of styles and sizes so customers don't have to look beyond us when they consider bike related adventures, and we price our products so we can emphasize ease of access, and bring new customers into the fold. As a woman run business, these values are extremely important to us and we seek representatives who are also equally passionate about inclusion in cycling.
We started our physical store distribution through Gregg's Cycles in Seattle, where we've had a fantastic summer COVID notwithstanding. We continue to grow fast among Pedego stores nationally as our lineup also includes e-bike customized styles. Our bags carry a 3-year warranty and we have great customer reviews so far on the design and utility of our lineup.
With the COVID driven boom in rec cycling and e-bike adoption across the country, we believe we have a strong value proposition waiting to be built out with bike stores across the country. The potential for growth is immense, and we seek reps who think like business owners. Our compensation will reflect the value we place in reps who would like to partner with us at our early stage. We offer strong retailer incentives – including margin, shipping, and speed of service.
Our independent agent lead Spring pre-buy program is already underway in the PNW and we are ready to expand nationally!
