Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing (WAEL) is a year-round group lodging and adventure center located on 500acres of field, forest, mountain, and stream in rural SW Virginia. Whether it be for our Summer Adventure Camp, Group Retreat Program, or Adventure Base Camp, WAEL has been welcoming children, adults, and executives from across the country to our facility for 31 years.
WAEL specializes in working with adults and children to build leadership, confidence, and teamwork through a variety of outdoor activities: zip lining, climbing, caving, canoeing, tubing, mountain biking, hiking, low-rope team building elements, backpacking, kayaking, and high ropes adventure courses. Our Adventure Camp is an all-outdoor, expedition style program that centers on backpacking while exposing participants to these activities. With nearly a half mile of creek frontage along the wide, meandering banks of Craigs Creek, Wilderness Adventure can customize experiences for a wide variety of groups as well.
