Company Description

Founded by Cesare Ferrino in Turin, Italy, the company pioneered waxed tents in the early 1900s.

Supplying Fiat and the Italian army, it gained recognition from mountaineers.

In the 60s, Ferrino expanded into leisure and camping gear, staying resilient across three centuries and five generations.

Renowned climber Reinhold Messner collaborated in the 80s, creating the "Extreme" tent.

In the 90s the HighLab, a high-altitude testing ground was created. It involved both pros and enthusiasts globally.

Key milestones include Borge Ousland's Antarctic crossing in 1997 and Mike Horn's solo Antarctic trek with Ferrino gear in 2002.

The Portaledge for Bubu Bole and sponsorship of the K2 expedition in 2004 further showcased Ferrino's commitment to exploration.

Silvio Mondinelli's 2007 Cho Oyu expedition exemplified the brand's enduring legacy.

Ferrino's history epitomizes innovation, enduring partnerships, and a legacy of providing quality outdoor gear.
