The vision for the City of Manitou Springs Parks & Recreation Department is to provide active stewardship of the community’s unique natural and built resources, foster a healthy and diverse urban forest, offer accessible recreational opportunities for all residents and visitors, and to maintain historic parks and structures to ensure the longevity of these irreplaceable community treasures.
The department contains five divisions: Aquatics, Events/Recreation, Facilities Maintenance, Forestry, and Parks Maintenance. Seasonal positions within the divisions are available throughout the year, with most seasonal positions active May - September.
