Bike shop and cycling team seeking an experienced, certified full time mechanic for local bike shop and large cycling team. Applicant must have more than 3 years bike mechanic experience in a fast paced bike shop cable of working on high end road bikes, and must have expert knowledge on mountain, hybrid, triathlon and older bikes. Team has over 1,000 subscribing members that ride each weekend keeping the local bike shop so busy that our members now need a full time mechanic for sales and service. This job requires someone with excellent communication skills, great customer service skills, and strong work ethic. Position pay a very competitive percentage of all sales and services coming into the shop and/or brought in by that mechanic, so that bike shop owner can focus attention on restoration, frame building and frame repainting, as well as day to day management of shop.
