Ortlieb USA is the exclusive US distributor of Ortlieb Outdoor Gear, Tubus Carrier Systems, Racktime Transport Systems, Source Bike Hydration, Womo Designs, and Ultralight Bike Mirrors. Established in 1998, Ortlieb USA is a wholly owned subsidiary based in Auburn, Washington of Ortlieb Sportartikel GmbH of Heilsbronn Germany.
Our parent company, Ortlieb, was established in 1982 and has been setting the standard for waterproof gear ever since. All our products are still manufactured in our own factory in the Nuremberg area of Germany. The company has more than 140 employees, and Ortlieb’s collection includes over 500 individual products. From development and design to engineering, production, sales, marketing, and worldwide distribution to more than 30 countries: After 30 plus years of growth, everything is still located under one roof.
Our collection of products include a wide range of high-end outdoor
and cycling gear, including backpacks, bicycle bags, motorcycle bags, camera bags, bicycle carrier racks, and assorted premium accessories. The brands we represent are regarded as trend setting and industry standards for quality and performance. We work as value added partners with our retailers providing the utmost in customer satisfaction through service, training, and expertise.
Our customer base is spread across North America and include notable retail leaders such as REI, L.L. Bean, EMS, Performance Bicycle, and countless regional and local specialty chains and independents.
