THE WOMEN’S WILDERNESS INSTITUTE The Women’s Wilderness Institute is a mid-sized non-profit organization with the critical mission of strengthening courage, confidence, and leadership qualities of girls and women, through the challenge and support of wilderness- and community-based experiences. In 2007 this growing and dynamic organization will celebrate its 10th anniversary, offering programs that include the Girls’ Wilderness Program, women’s courses in outdoor skills and self-expression, a wilderness recovery program, and custom courses for groups and organizations. Our passionate staff includes an administrative staff of five and 30 field staff.
