Sea to Summit has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized, high-energy individual to join our team as a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator is an instrumental role within our company who improves our sales team productivity through multiple means of support, reports and services through all means of distribution.  This position is responsible for supporting our in-house sales teams as well as certain aspects of our business with trade show and event support.  The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating several operational aspects of Sea to Summit’s sales team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintain excel sales reports and communicate all information accurately and be able to understand the data.
  • Assist with expense reports and accurate information collection regarding expenses.
  • Support manager with various administrative tasks including pulling sales data by request and building dashboards.
  • Create, coordinate, and provide feedback with sales collateral creation for new sales program or material.
  • Maintain sales rep planogram tool and support sales reps to provide a polished merchandising plan for retailers.
  • Implement and track retail campaigns.  Provide logistical support to retailers and reps to implement campaigns.
  • Tracking & enforcement Sea to Summit’s online sales policies on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments regarding the Sales department activities, programs and new item setup by providing clear and concise information as needed.
  • Monitor point of purchase usage and ensure appropriate materials are ordered by retailers and reps.
  • Maintenance general information in SAP for accurate sales reporting.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Events Manager with various retail event and trade show support.
  • Other tasks and duties as needed.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3+ years in an administrative role or BA/BS in business administration or relevant field plus 1 year in an administrative role.
  • 1+ years in retail experience or a similar customer facing role.
  • Ability to analyze retail sales metrics and complex sales data.
  • Has strong problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills.
  • Can move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects, manage them from start to finish.
  • Enjoys working with numbers and spreadsheets and is capable of summarizing and presenting data in simple and understandable ways.
  • Has an eye for detail, is resourceful, and is a good listener.
  • HIGHLY ORGANIZED
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite skills – with an emphasis on MS EXCEL.
  • Highly motivated and has a good sense of humor.
