Job Description: Warehouse Lead
Summary: The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for coordinating and executing all daily warehousing activities. This position will work alongside the Warehouse Supervisor and a Warehouse Associate to fulfill all the warehousing, receipt, fulfillment, and logistics related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creates new and optimizes current processes to ensure receiving and fulfillment are as streamlined and accurate as possible
• Coordinates warehouse inventory with Warehouse Supervisor — including the performance of cycle counts and annual physical inventories
• Oversees all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Has experience with freight shipments and international shipping, including but not limited to creating bill of lading and necessary international shipping documentation
• Reviews customers’ vendor compliance manuals and maintains compliance with key customers; ensures all outbound shipments are processed successfully
• Manage the picking and packing of all sales orders (both ecommerce and wholesale)
• Collaborates with upper management regarding employee relations and performance management
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse
• Works with the warehouse team to ensure adequate resupply of warehousing supplies
Other information:
Candidate will need a valid driver’s license, have a working knowledge of computers, with excellent critical thinking and communications skills, both oral and written. Candidate must have a strong work ethic with attention to details. Able to operate effectively and professionally under pressure, move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and be able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
