Experienced Bicycle Technician/Mechanic

Mountain Bike Specialists, located in the heart of Durango, is looking for a self-motivated and team-focused mechanic to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Durango is home to a plethora of cycling history, and MBS has been in the center of it since 1968. From co-founding Trails2000 and the IHBC, to supporting up-and-coming cycling professionals, MBS has been there; and will continue to build Durango’s cycling history.

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced bicycle technician to execute the assembly, maintenance, and repair of all levels/types of bicycles with a high degree of proficiency and attention to detail. Help assist the sales staff set up bikes for test-rides and install accessories on sold bikes. Maintain the cleanliness of the service department. Answer phones and interact with customers when needed.

What we want you to bring to the team:

2 Years of Bicycle Mechanic experience.

Great customer service and communication skills

Enthusiasm for all things cycling with an eagerness and desire to continually learn and grow

Positive energy and attitude with attention to detail and ability to problem-solve

Dependability and punctuality

Previous experience with Specialized bikes and e-bikes is a plus!
