Full-Time Assistant Store Manager – Job Description

Charlotte Cycles is actively seeking:

A dynamic, charismatic, and self-motivated individual who is passionate about supporting our team through taking care of many behind the scenes business operations as an Assistant Store Manager.

Primary roles & expectations:

=         Communications Leader

o   Coordinating between sales and service associates with scheduling (appointments and bike builds)

o   Hold team members accountable for tasks as needed and communicate about timelines

o   Working with the team to ensure follow-up on the Special Order/Layaway bin

o   Writing and helping enforce new policy (delivery, backorders, shipping protocol)

=         Marketing Coordinator

o   Working with service partners to make weekly/monthly updates/publications

o   Collect and organize content (take pictures, find articles, etc.) & frequent post on social media platforms

o   Support in hiring process with finding candidates, interviewing and on-boarding

o   Actively participate in local outreach events, demo days and shop rides

=         Supply Chain Coordinator

o   Work with the order manager to share with the team ETAs of bikes and products

o   Coordinate with data management partners to archive and add products to POS and online catalog

o   Create and manage purchase orders for weekly reorders

o   Receiving products and handling any discrepancies (sales and service teams will stock items in the store)

=         Warranty Specialist

o   Gather all needed information, submit the warranty form(s), follow-up with vendors until resolution

o   Creating and managing warranty workorders in Lightspeed

=         Customer Relationship Manager

o   Follow-up support for sales and service team emails, phone calls and walk-ins as the last tier

o   Helping to set expectations with customer and resolving conflicts regarding services or purchases

=         Shipping Manager

o   Creating and printing shipping labels for Freight, Hazmat and Standard packages

o   Responsible for the claims process, submission, and follow-up

=         Brand and product expert

o   Able to assess needs of customers and apply knowledge in a sales role as needed

=         Have a valid driver’s license (to be qualified to drive our shop vans as needed)

         Count the cash drawer daily and make bank deposits as needed 

=         Minimum 12-month commitment to our team with +30 hours per week, working every other weekend
