Job Description & Requirements

The NA Sales Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining systems and resources used for order processing utilized by the Sales and Sales Operations team. This includes developing and implementing standard procedures for product data management/ communication, Business to business ordering systems, and Navision best practices. The NA Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for customer service and data entry support as needed. Additionally, they will coordinate with other internal departments to improve overall workflow.

Essential Functions:

  1. Organizing, coordinating, and completing departmental projects as requested by the NA Customer Service Sr. Manager. Including obtaining and maintaining seasonal product information, assets, and pricing for the Sales Operations team in a format that can be shared directly with the rep force and dealer base.
  2. Build and maintain the Dealer Web catalogs utilized for order processing each season. This includes owning the relationship with the external B2B contact and coordinating with internal contacts necessary to launch the seasonal order campaign.
  3. Execute and support the allocation process to ensure that inventory is being intentionally divided in a manner that is aligned with expectations of all Sales channels, DSS, and SCM.
  4. Assist in the administrative process of preseason selling campaigns. This includes coordinating complex data entry, order review, order tracking and running reports.
  5. Responsible to provide coverage for other Dealer Sales and Service reps and Key Account team when necessary. This includes overflow duties during peak seasonal periods.
  6. Assist with processing customer transactions such as orders and returns as needed.
  7. Answer incoming inquires plus make outgoing calls and emails to customers and vendors when necessary. Responsible to provide technical product support plus resolve customer issues.
  8. Occasional travel to regional shows, demonstrations, and sales events as requested by the NA Customer Service Sr. Manager.
  9. Oversee the B2B dealer newsletter production and scheduled release.

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Work:

  • Required: 2+ years of experience in retail/ wholesale sales or project management. Preferably in the outdoor equipment industry.

Skills and general experience:

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales and product knowledge are mandatory.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Experience in MS Office, Word, Outlook and Excel.

Alternative qualifications for the NA Sales Coordinator: An active, on-going knowledge of company products or additional work experience would be preferable over additional education.
