Headwall Sports is a consignment store for outdoor sporting gear in Jackson Hole, WY and Big Sky, MT. We offer high quality gear at a fraction of retail prices while providing an opportunity for consigners to sell their gear and earn money in return. Everyone involved with Headwall Sports share a passion for the outdoors and make the choice to build their life around nature instead of a cubicle. Headwall Sports is seeking an enthusiastic sales associate who is dedicated to outdoor sports and the gear involved. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn about the gear to help customers find what they need. The position being in Jackson Hole, the beauty of Yellowstone and the Tetons are yours to explore. Headwall Sports encourages our employees to get outside and have fun so you can bring your adventurous spirit to work and encourage our customers.
The ideal sales associate will be someone who has impeccable customer service skills, dependable, self-motivated, willing to learn, and overall has a friendly disposition.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include:
• Kindly welcoming customers into the store with a smile and helpful attitude.
• Opening and closing the store.
• Staying knowledgeable about our products and gear.
• Recommending and guiding customers to related products for their situation.
• Assessing inventory.
• Enriching customer’s shopping experience.
• Accepting and processing consigned gear.
• Accepting and processing sales.
• Operating our POS system.
• Promoting special sales and offers.
The requirements and skills of the position include:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent sales and communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Fast paced learning skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• POS familiarity preferred.
• Must be capable of moving gear such as skis and snowboards.
• Valid driver’s license & social security number.
Benefits:
The sales associate position begins at $20 per hour and can quickly increase to $25+ based on experience and ability to learn. Full time, year-round employees will receive health insurance, a ski pass in the winter, discounts on gear and paid time off.

About Headwall Sports
We are a Sporting goods consignment/outlet store located in Jackson Hole Wyoming. We deal in all types of gear that is used to recreate here in the Tetons, and greater Yellowstone ecosystem. We deal with Both Winter and Summer sporting goods. Summer time we offer limited bike shops services as well as provide a do it yourself bicycle repair area. Winter time we refill avalanche air bag canisters. We also have fun events such as a bi weekly Avalanche/snowpack educational discussion. these discussions/lectures are lead by local snow science experts. These talks are free to the public and we also provide free food and beverages. Headwall Sports has a v very legit, local feel. Many of our regular customers are locals who have been in the community for years. We also do help a lot of tourists that are visiting.
