Operations Overview:
Manage overall operations in the factory and responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established. Work closely with management to set and/or implement policies, procedures and to follow through with implementation. Maintain current equipment and develop onboarding procedures for new equipment.
Responsibilities include coaching and empowering department leads, planning, assigning and directing work, authorizing and presenting employee performance reviews, addressing employee performance and corrective action plans, employee motivation and rewards. Overnight travel will be required to be agreed upon shows/events and tournaments for Cashion Rods.
Inventory Overview:
Oversee the ordering, storing, receiving and distribution processes of Cashion’s products and supplies. The main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation. Maintain daily records for invoices and shipments to identify which products need to be replenished. Required to develop and implement an organized method (Standard Operating Procedure) of tracking and ordering inventory using an inventory management software to calculate monthly and seasonal demand.
Requirements:
A self-starter that does not require extensive supervision to solve problems. Notices and proactively addresses issues before management can point them out. A strong work ethic is required along with a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Trustworthiness and honesty are required to ensure proper trust is developed with management and staff. The Operations Manager will require a strong knowledge in mechanical/electrical diagnostics and repair.
Goals:
Develop and execute annual goals for continuous performance of Cashion Rods in December for the following fiscal year. Example, in addition to overseeing day to day operations the major goal will be to decrease labor cost per finished rod on a consistent monthly basis. The position will be heavily goal-oriented and follow the SMART Goal methodology. The SMART in SMART goals stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. Defining these parameters as they pertain to the goal helps ensure that the objectives are attainable within a certain time frame.
Operations Responsibilities:

Develop KPI’s, KAI’s, and evaluate risk/reward to achieve annual goals

Supervise the day to day operations of Cashion
-
Implement production, productivity, and quality standards and resolve problems
-
Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
-
Develop Failure Point Analysis of current equipment and create parts list
-
Aggressively look for areas to increase efficiency and write operational protocols by determining most efficient rod building procedure, handling and storage requirements

Develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures
-
Lean Manufacturing and 5S
-
Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
-
Mechanical aptitude - responsible to maintain each piece of equipment and develop maintenance plan

Identify equipment needs and implementation plan for new equipment

Design and draw new products in modeling software such as CAD

Work to find manufacturing solutions for new products

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations, run a safe, injury/accident free workplace

Meet or exceed operations labor cost expectations

Overnight weekend stays will be required for representing Cashion Rods at agreed upon events/show and tournaments

Perform analysis of component inventory and ensure Cashion is utilizing inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce overhead expenses

Prevent component shortages

Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations

Develop and enforce station cleaning schedule
Inventory Responsibilities:

Responsible for all inventory tracking, storage, organization, and all aspects utilizing inventory Software that integrates with accounting software

Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures

Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
-
Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory

Evaluating new inventory, ensuring it is of good quality for use in manufacturing

Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost-effective deals

Write and implement all inventory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
