Hudson Valley Sales Group, is seeking highly motivated individual to join our team in the sales and marketing efforts as we continue to grow the Helly Hansen, Chaco & Stanley brands in the Mid Atlantic Territory (NY, NJ, DE & MD)

THE POSITION
We’re looking for Regional Sales Rep to support sales development through account management and new customer acquisition, while maintaining the high level of customer service our existing customers have come to count on. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Account Management of our existing Sail/Marine customers.
- Development of New Accounts within the assigned Sales Territory
- Traveling to customer visits in the Territory
- Working with HVSG existing team to develop sales strategies and programs for the territory.
-Travel expectation is 50%. You must be willing and able to travel and stay away from home.
- Previous Sail/Marine industry sales experience a plus
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- “Hunter” mentality with a strong focus on opening new dealers while honouring our existing relationships
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Personable, enthusiastic and passionate
- Able to show initiative and work independently
- Well organised and detail oriented
- Clean drivers licence
- Willing and able to travel to key sailing spots in the territory and stay away from home when required
- Eager to learn and develop
- An active sailor, windsurfer or kite surfer a plus
- Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office
THE PERSON
You will be enthusiastic and passionate, displaying credibility, honesty and tenacity. Experience in the sailing industry is preferred but not essential. You will have sales experience and know how to develop business relationships and grow. Independent sales rep with other lines (in Sailing) a plus.
