The Veer Cruiser was born for a world of wonder and fun, where parents and children can form special bonds by going places together.  Veer empowers us all to become explorers, ready to connect with a world of awe and wonder.  Veer launched the crossover Cruiser in 2017 and in 1 year has disrupted the juvenile products industry.  Our success story continues as we plan to launch into the world of outdoor.

 

Veer is looking for coverage of all states and territories within the USA and Canada.  The sales representative with Veer Gear will be responsible for all aspects of sales and service within their specified territory, including: business planning, making sales presentations, securing orders, training staff, and attending consumer events. Their focus will be on providing exceptional customer service that leads to building long-term business relationships.

 
All territories in the US are available.
 
Responsibilities Include:
•      Schedule and execute sales presentations
•      Collect orders and submit to Veer in a timely manner
•      Establish and develop new accounts
•      Travel entire territory to visit each account four times per year
•      Schedule and conduct ongoing in-store training to retail staff
•      Attend applicable regional and national trade shows and participate in planning, setup, and tear down as required

•      Support retailers and vendors at local and regional consumer events

 

Qualifications:

•      5+ years’ experience in outdoor retail, buying experience preferred
•      Ability to create positive relationships with wide range of people, including business owners, buyers, managers, floor staff, customer service representatives, and fellow sales reps
•      Strong commercial drive and ability to negotiate effectively
•      Structured and accurate - acknowledge that the devil is in the details
•      Self-motivated - taking initiative is second nature
•      Solid work capacity as well as the ability to execute on the tasks at hand
•      Love for nature and the outdoor industry
