Since opening our doors in Salida in 1999, we’ve worked tirelessly to make the shop one of the best in the United States. Absolute Bikes has always strived to be an integral part of the Salida community. When you shop at Absolute Bikes you are supporting local as a portion of all revenue goes right back into our community. We take it seriously.
You’ll find some of the best bikes in the industry in the store: Yeti, Pivot, Ibis, Rocky Mountain, Revel, Trek, and Kona. We also have a great selection of commuter, cruiser, and E-bikes from Electra and Kona. And don’t forget the kids – we have a bike for every stage of your growing rider! Whether you want to ride around town, from Denver to Durango on the Colorado Trail, or from Banff to Antelope Wells on the Great Divide Route, we have everything you need to keep rolling.
We strive to provide the best service you’ve experienced through both our sales and service departments. Our shop includes a dedicated fit room to make sure that your bike fits your body perfectly, whether its a road bike or a mountain bike. Shop owner Shawn Gillis is a certified Master Bike Fitter.
In our service department, we offer fast, friendly, professional service and maintenance. There are always mechanics on hand and no job is too big or too small – everything from fixing flats for neighborhood kids to complete bike rebuilds.
